How it works
Drop your .eml files
One email or two hundred — they are parsed on the spot by JavaScript in this tab. Nothing is uploaded, ever; you can watch the Network tab and see no file bytes leave.
Read & check
Every email opens with its full headers, a readable body (plain text or a safely sandboxed HTML view), inline image attachments, and downloads for everything else.
Export to PDF
Convert any single email to PDF free, forever. Tick 2+ emails to merge them into one PDF with a cover index page — that's the one-time $9.99 license.

Frequently asked questions
What is an EML file?
EML is the standard single-email file format (RFC 5322): one file holds one complete
message with its headers, body and attachments. Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Gmail
(download message) and most mail servers can export it. Apple Mail's .emlx
variant is the same message with a small Apple-specific wrapper and works here too.
How do I convert EML to PDF without uploading anything?
Right here: drag the .eml file into the box above (or click "Choose .eml
files"). The email is parsed in your browser tab and you can read it and export it to PDF
immediately — no email client, no account, no upload.
Is it safe to convert confidential emails here?
Yes — by construction. The file is read and parsed entirely by JavaScript running in your browser; it is never transmitted. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools (Network tab), load a file, and watch — no file bytes are sent anywhere. The only requests this site makes are page loads, an anonymous usage counter (counts only, never content), and license validation for paid users. Details in the privacy policy.
What's free and what costs $9.99?
Free, forever: opening .eml/.emlx files, reading every message with full formatting, downloading attachments, and converting any single email to PDF — unlimited. The one-time $9.99 license unlocks merging 2 or more selected emails into one PDF with a cover index page. Pay once — it's a lifetime license, not a subscription.
How do I convert many EML files at once?
Drop a whole folder's worth of .eml files onto the page (up to 200 per batch). They all parse into a list; tick the ones you need and export them merged into a single PDF with a summary cover page. That merged export is the paid feature.
Does it handle attachments and HTML emails?
Yes. HTML emails render in a safe sandboxed preview, image attachments show inline, and any attachment can be downloaded. In the PDF, HTML bodies are flattened to readable text and attachments are listed by name and size (the binaries are never embedded).
Can it convert Outlook .msg files?
Yes — .msg is Outlook's binary format, not EML. Use the MSG to PDF page: it loads a dedicated parser and converts .msg files without needing Outlook installed.
I already paid but lost my license key — what do I do?
Your key is shown on your Gumroad receipt, emailed to you right after checkout — search your inbox for "Gumroad" and open the receipt to copy it. Then click "Enter license key" in the top navigation to re-activate merged PDF export.
